Amberly Hopson joined Warthan Dermatology in 2024 as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner. She worked previously for 11 years practicing primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Amberly was born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas. She attributes her initial interest in medicine to her late grandfather Dr B. W. Henderson who practiced as an internal medicine physician in Nacogdoches. She has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Amberly has always been passionate about helping patients improve both their health and confidence. She is proud to combine her years of clinical experience with her love of dermatology to provide personalized, high-quality care to patients of all ages. She attended Texas A&M University and studied accounting and then completed her nursing degree from Stephen F. Austin’s State University. She later completed her Nurse Practitioner degree from UT Tyler. Amberly is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Texas NP Association.
Outside of the office, Amberly enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family, and cheering on her three children as they participate in sports. Amberly is an active member of First Baptist Nacogdoches.
Amberly is proud to serve the East Texas community she calls home and looks forward to helping her patients achieve healthier skin while building lasting relationships based on trust and compassion.
